You know what's sad? I have more guys reminding me that I haven't blogged than anyone else. Honestly, I haven't had the motivation to blog, but I gotta compete with Jerry Jubran (THE BEAST), and the lovely David has been pestering me to blog... so here it is!

Me, along with every other student at my school, and probably every other kid in the world, is about ready to be done with school. I'm at the point where I just don't want to do any of my work, and I've been really tired and moody at school. Oh, and someone must hate me because they've super glued my locker shut TWICE in one day... So now, I'm home to a new locker right underneath the main stairs and where I feel like I'm exposed to the whole school. Considering I was in the loser hallway the whole year, I'm going to have to adjust to the mass influx of students around my new home. I need to have a APUSH burning party. I wonder how many trees have to be killed every year because of that class. I practically have a novel of APUSH notes.

The subject of hipsters came up in math class the other day. There was only about 6 kids in class that day because most of the seniors were at Valley Fair for physics day. What exactly is a hipster? My old locker neighbor said I'm the definition of a hipster, but, I think I only look like one. I don't act like one... however "hipsters" act like. I mean, like I do gymnastics and run track, I work really hard at school, and I'm quite conservative. I'm not the free spirit, snobby person that "hipsters" are like. He said I'm a total hipster because I'm artsy, I take photos, I have a fashion blog, and I shop at Urban Outfitters. With this outfit I definately could see how someone could see me as a hipster... but I really don't think I am? I'm just expressing myself, because I hate to dress like "everyone else". Granted, I have my lazy days haha

This totally makes me wanna go to some huge indie music festival... like South By Southwest in Texas. That festival just sounds gnarly.

Last weekend, I dyed by hair RED. Well, it was more like getting blonde high lights and putting a red toner on my hair... and this is what it looked like.

It's kind of hard to tell in this photo, but it really was red. It was like a... vodka tomatoe sauce red.

However, when I took a shower 2 days later (as instructed by the colorists) it looked like someone DIED in my shower (no pun intended). There was red all over my shower, and I ended up with orange red hair. Soon it started to fade, and it looked like halloween on top of my hair. I was not happy!!!!! Now, however, the color has changed once more, and it's more a copper color. I think it's pretty. Not as "edgy" as I hoped for... but it'll have to do. Yes, I realize also that I look a hella more Asian, which is NOT my goal. Being adopted when I was 3 months old, I am completely "white washed". I don't consider myself "Asian" ( I mean, sure I was born in Asia, but that's it), I feel uncomfortable around un"white washed" Asians, and I have no desire to go back to the homeland either.

With all this "anti-Asian" talk going on, I really want to get a tattoo that says "Made in Korea", like "made in China" that you see on pretty much every product sold in the United States. My mom thinks it's adorable, however my state has this stupid law stating that no person under the age of 18 can get piercings or tattoos. I"m thinking of making my way to the closest state nearby to get my tattoo done for my 17th birthday!

Guess who's going to Prom as yearbook photographer... THIS GIRL! My dear friend is going to Prom as a Sophomore, and I get to go as photographer. I'm totally okay with not having a date because A)I'm not a junior or senior, so I have two years to go to Prom with a date, and B) it's very hard to have a date to a dance and take photos for yearbook. Semi didn't turn out too well, and I can attribute my job to part of that.

Oh and one more thing, I recieved my 0g t rex tunnels in the mail on Saturday! Time to start stretching those ears one more time!

So where I live, there's a saying that goes like this: "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes and it will change". This is most certainly true. The other day it was 50 degrees and sunny, now, however, it's snowing sideways! As great as the snow is, we're getting tired of it. It's almost April, and we still have snow. Something isn't right.

Sorry for the boring outfit, I just thought I'd dress cozy for this. The scarf was knitted for me by a dear friend as my Christmas gift. It's 100% wool, and oh so amazing.

Happy Friday everyone! The weather here is starting to warm up, which is nice, except for the mud, slop, and dog poop ALL OVER MY YARD from this past winter! It's quite gross actually. I got myself out of bed just to talk some photos, so please excuse the messy hair, and lack of makeup!

I got this vintage fur coat from a fundraiser for my old school. Every year they have a huge garage sale, and this lovely piece was left over, so it was given to me. Granted, I'll probably never ever wear it out in public, but it's a very beautiful cape.

Picture taking was a lot easier today, maybe because the sun wasn't as harsh today as it was the other day. I also got some random items found in my garage to prop up my camera. Hope y'all like it (:

I have found it very difficult to take self portraits with my DSLR. It's so chunky, and I haven't boughten myself a quick release mount for my tripod yet. So taking these photos took forever. Trial and error my friends, patience as well.

I'm in love with this skirt, the colors and print are just yummy. I also have those boots in brown, and they're pretty much all I've been wearing this winter. I just bought the coat too, because my old was just not warm enough! Yes, my glasses are real glasses. I feel like a loser walking around wearing these because these are the type of glasses kids wear to look "cool'' and "hipster". But hey, I can actually see now.

Even though it is technically Spring, there's still a good amount of snow left on the ground. Winter this year has been dreadful. Incessent snowfall, even the most snow loving Minnesotans want it all to just go away. Wanna know what's funny too? Every time we received a heavy load of school, it was either on the weekend or days we already didn't have snow. Obviously, the man up there wants us all little kids to get a good education. We're apparently close to the record of the most snow in one year. How sad is that?

I'm on Spring Break right now. As much as I love not having school, I find myself bored quite often. My mom is subbing all week, my brother has school, so there's really not much to do. Today some of my gymnastics team mates and I are making a scrapbook for our coach as an end fo the year gift. Yeah, we're scrapin' like a bunch of crazy old ladies. Should be fun!

Well hello all,
I'm like in such a good mood. It's spring break, and it's really warm! Ah, the sun is shining and I get to pole vault tomorrow. YAY! I also get to go shopping too! However, I don't have money. I want a job so bad! I had one before I moved to my new school, teaching gymnastics to little kids. It wasn't ideal, but hey, it's money. I called the lady in charge of giving hours to instructors and told her I'm available this summer. I really have no money left, and I suppose I should start saving for college... in the East Coast. You guys have no idea how much I want to go live there. Plus, there's a Topshop in New York...

OH, someone sent me a text claiming she is from Seventeen Magazine (A fashion magazine for teenage girls) and said they've seen my blog and want me to be in the magazine. They have real teenage girls model for them all the time, and I really want this to be real. However, I'm really wary about it. I mean if it were real, they'd email or call me, not text. Right? Ah, how awesome would it to be flown to NYC and be in a national magazine and seen my millions of girls. That would be so cool... Sigh.

I haven't really blogged in a while. Sorry about that, track started on the 15th. So I've been busy with that, and my shin splint came back, and they hurt so bad! Ah, I've learned how to pole vault, and I love it! The pole vaulting coach wanted me to try it since I'm a gymnast, and he said I could be top three in the Conference. Hopefully, my shins will hold up this season.

Spring Break just started today. A whole week to do... nothing? Hopefully I'll get some shopping in, but I have no money. I also have track practice three times next week in the morning. I also got two big projects to do over break too.... what teacher assigns projects over break? I have to write an essay in English class and do some Paris project for French. BLEHHH.

This Trimester in school, I have photography class. It's hard, but I really love the subject. Now, I want a DSLR camera more than ever. I've decided the only reason to keep my grades up is no longer to impress my parents, cause obviously it doesn't work. The only reason for me to do it is because it's my way to get far from home. I want to go live in the East Coast (NY, MA, etc) and I want to go to college there too. HOwever, the only way I'll be able to afford it is well.. I can't. So that's why I'm gonna keep my my perfect 4.0 GPA and hopefully get a scholarship that will whisk me away from home. I wanna get as far away as I can... Sigh.

So the day of the photo shoot I did with the inspiring photographer was BEAUTIFUL! It was the first day of the year where the sun was shining and everything was warm. We went to this regional park nearby and it was reallly cool. There were these caves made out of all sand, so if you touched it, sand would come crumbling down. There was streams, rocks, and trees too. It would be a really good place to shoot promos for a band, which is something I really want to do!

I'll show you some of the photos I took, and when the photographer emails me the photos she took, I'll show you them!

So I got my braces off on March 4th, and I still can't stop licking my teeth. It's a strange feeling.... I've never had perfect teeth, and I guess now I do. I can't really stop smiling either. So I guess you'll be seeing more smiles, and less of whatever I used to do... that emo head down thing.

I got this sick new ring... it goes on two fingers and is a bejeweled bengal tiger. I find it quite snazzy. I also just got three vintage rings at a Thrift store, but I've seem to lost one already, and that one was my favorite. :/ Here's also a close up of the necklace, not a great photo but I love the necklace. It was too short when I bought it, so I took some chains from an old necklace and added length.

So tomorrow I'm getting my photos taken by a lady I know who is trying to build up her portfolio. She wants to open her own studio, and has asked some girls to come model for her. I just hope I don't end up looking like a fat lard or something... I think I get nervous in front of other people's cameras.

PS I bought Vampire Weekend's new album (little late, I know) and it's pretty awesomeeee! I also just bought the album from a band called Hockey, so go buy their album, Mind Chaos. And I also bought the EP called, 20 Minute Hourglass by Scene of Action. It's a good EP, but the song Sexception is so so great.

FINALS are this week.... eekkk! ha so I thought I'd leave you guys with something for this week as I fret out tests. I found this lovely polka dot tights at target, and I've been looking for some for a really long time. However, I've only been able to find some for like $15, and I don't want to pay that much for tights, but the ones at Target are only $7. I got two pair in case one breaks. I just need to find some little heart tights now, they're too cute

ohhh my! it's been like a month since I've blogged!! Why!??! I don't know. I've been busy with gymnastics, and it just ended so now I can blog again. The season ended up well, and I made it to the State Meet for vault so that's fun!

It was like super warm today.... 40 degrees! Ah, it's almost Spring time. So I took some photos with my new RODARTE dress. YES I GOT A RODARTE DRESS FROM TARGET ON SALE FOR $11!! i also got a skirt, and I'm pretty pumped about that

So like three posts down (Blue Skies Take Me Away) you could see how lovely everything was clearing up, and how beauitufl the sun shinning looked. BUT NOT ANYMORE! It's freaking snowing again... and I don't like it. It just causes problems and heart ache.

I'm real excited for Friday because the lovely Nick Santino is coming here with his band, A Rocket to the Moon. WOOO! I also hear that August burns red, Silverstein, and A Day to Remember is coming sometime in the Spring so I hope to go to that show too. Gosh, I really love concerts. Some of my best memories are at these shows.SOme of the best shows I've gone to are Gwen Stefani in 5th grade with the Black eyed Peas, Blink 182 reunion tour with PATD and FOB, family force five, august burns red, burden of a day, relient k, switchfoot, The maine,3oh!3, THE BACKSTREET BOYS WHEN I WAS SIX YEARS OLD! [:, and various other hardcore/screamo shows.

Snow daze is also nearing, and I still need to find some jewerly that will match those lovely shoes ( go down two posts to see them) I want to find some of the dark aqua colored pieces, but I can't find any. My date is supposidly wearing a matching tie, but it's kind of hard to communiate because he goes to a different school. My friend and I bought a tie really close to the dark aqua color, but I don't think it's that cute, and I doubt he likes it either. So I told him to find another one close to that color. [In reference to the title, I was just making fun of some advertisment for some online college thing...]

I've decided to show you fellow followers and bloggers something not even relivant to fashion... Here's my life outside of the fashion, photography, and everything else: It's gymnastics. I was a gymnast for over 10 years for club gymnastics. I used to go 20 hours a week and was at one point, second best in the state for my age and level. However, I quit and regreated it and now I do high school gymnastics. It's totally different than club-much more relaxed and not as intense. It's all just for fun in high school gymnastics... One more thing... what are we thinking about these CRAZYYYY shoes?!?! My friend and I were shopping and we found them, I was iffy. I was looking for some shoes for my winter semi formal {YESSS I GOT ASKED!!!!} and I have this lovely and simple black dress. It's got one shoulder that is lined with satin and mesh... I'll have to show you later.It's from Urban Outfitters! [: But I knew I didn't want plain black heels, I wanted something fun. however, these shoes are totally not my style, I'm usually very... plain and boring when it comes to fashion. Simplicity is my thing, but my friend loved them, and she said I needed some craziness to make my dress pop....She said I'm too borring, and needed to be exciting and spontanious. I agree cause I don't want to look boring at my winter dance haha. So originally they were $120 and we got them for $47, but I'm still pretty iffy. My mom hates them because she too is pretty laid back and likes simple things. To keep or not to keep???

These blue skies are putting a smile on my face. Ah, how I love this warm weather.... it's crazy I think 30 degrees is warm. Went to church today, and apparently there's a big football game on right now... (hint hint GOOOOO VIKINGS!!)
I want to put some new music on my ipod... do any of you have any suggestions?? What kind of music do y'all listen to?
I don't have school tomorrow... Thank you Dr. Martin Luther Kings Jr. So I plan on going to the mall with my friends from my old school... I also wanna look for a dress for semi formal/snow daze. I really do hope I get asked. I'm not going to be going to my new school's dance-there will only be hobags and manwhores there. I plan on going to my old school's dance. Decided to give the vacation photos a little break... The snow is melting, but knowing the bipolar weather we get, it's probably gonna be in the negitive degrees sometime soon. Things in my life are so weird. Some times I'm super happy and great, and other times I'm as sad and depressed as eeyore. Gymnastics has been great, at the last meet we had on Thursday, our team won and I won on vault, bars, floor and the All around competition. They even announced my name during school announcements congratulating me. How embarressing...

I'm trying to decide if I want to stay at this school I'm now or go back to my old school. If I decide I want to go back, I have to come up with a great reason why I should to convince my parents because the school is VERY expensive... I really don't know what to do. All my "Friends" are at my old school, and I really hate how big the school I'm at. There are way too many kids, and I know I can't have a social life there with out going to parties and getting drunk or high. I'm too young for all that, I'm only. Sure I know kids have been doing that shit since they were 12, but I wasn't raised that way. However, my old school doesn't have a gymnastics team and this one does. Gymnastics was my life, and I grew up in the gym.Competing in the high school setting is much more relaxed, and I kind of like it. Which is worth more? Gymnastics or Friends?

At the Animal Kingdom we went on a safari, and saw lots of animals!

My favorite thing at the Hollywood studios was the "dancing lights" they had buildings COVERED with Christmas lights, and they "danced" to Trans Siberian Orchestra music, it was so awesome!!!!

Uh... so when I said I'd show you more photos from my trip "tomorrow" as in January 2nd... Sorry that didn't happen. But here I am to show you some more photos. Everything has just been so busy, and I haven't wanted to blog. It's so cold here right now, it's either in the single digit temperatures, or negitve with the wind chill. However, this week it's supposed to warm up to 2o and 30 degrees! WHAT A HEAT WAVE!!

What a magical day...

I've been absent from blogging for like more than a week. It's over whelming. I want to look at all your fabulous blogs, but there are too many posts that I've missed!!! AHHHH
I'm back from my trip... which was way warmer than home. When I was gone, we recieved like over 2 feet of snow. WHICH IS A TON!!! My family and I went to Disney World in Florida for Christmas, and then on a 3 day cruise, which was super nice! Lying out on the beach was so great.

I leave for my cruise and vacation on tuesday afternoon. I'm missing 1.5 days of school, so I have to make up two tests... Math tomorrow morning and Biology on Tuesday morning. oh boyy

I finally got myself to go take some photos... nothing too exciting, but I did get a new coat.

Christmas is almost here, I'm quite excited. We are going to Florida and on a cruise! I just loath this cold weather that we always get. BRRR. I'm planning on getting a tan too!

We had to write a poem for English class about a place... ahaha mine ended up very emo. We just started a poetry unit, and I loath poetry. I'm so bad at writing it too. It was supposed to be about how I feel like I can just go to my bedroom and escape all the crap going on. I listen to music in the dark with my Christmas lights on, and that's pretty much it. Here it is...

hahah sorry guy's i jsut haven't been the most motivated to blog. I was thinking of just stopping blogging, because it's just way to time consuming. Now that it's winter and it gets really dark out early, I don't have a chance to take photos. Since I get home from practice at 5... But I am going to my friends house today and perhaps i'll get some photos.

I had my first gymnastics meet last night. I didn't realy know what to expect, but I can't say I'm disapointed, but I know I could have done better. Our team won, and I"m pretty sure I got the highest score on most of the events and all around. I've got my first meet gitters out of the way, which is good. haha I elbowed my knee while warming up my tsuk on vault, and now I have a nice sized bruise on the muscle right above my knee. however, I think this meet made me realize just how much I've missed gymnastics. the cheering, the team mates, the performance, I loved it all.

Hopefully I'll feel the motivation to start blogging again... we will see.

Seems like I've been totally not into it recently... haven't been into the blogging mood recently. I don't know why. I have my first gymnastics meet on Friday. I'm nervous, it'll be my first time competing in three years since I quit club gymnastics. I'm in pain, my back and legs hurt, and my hands have tons of blisters on them from bars. OH, joy.

Today the second trimester started at school, and I don't like it asmuch. Firstly, I have gym first hour... which is horrible. I don't wanna look nasty the rest of the day due to phy ed. I miss my Bio buddy, I'm stuck with these two really chatty and annoying girls for my lab group. He was a much better partner haha. Um, at lunch, I don't really know anyone... which is lonely.
ENOUGH COMPLAINING!

I went thrifting this weekend and got tons of awesome stuff, I found a boy friend blazer too! Here it is...

Sorry for the bad photos. It's way too dark outside by 5pm... I'm gonna have to figure out a way to take photos.
We also decorated the Christmas tree this weekend, and a certain little feline decided to drop by...

An Anon reader said she'd like to know how to incorporate some fashion trends into her wardrobe while keeping things casual and edgy; no florals or pink. Sounds like me! I also wish I could make these bigger... I don't know how to. Does anyone know?

I absolutely say that boyfriend cardigans are the way to go. I love them so much, and they take up a huge part of my closet. Stripes have also been popular this season. I really like them. Rings can also add edginess to any outfit (Polyvore has some sickkk rings! Like the back bone/spine ones, and tons of awesome skulls)You can pile them on, without looking trashy. I like BIG rings a lot.

Also, you can still look edgy and casual while wearing a skirt. High waisted skirts are in right now, and they should stay that way. they're just a lot more flattering than skirts that hang on your waist... You can add a cool vintage shirt or Band t shirt to a high wasited A line skirt. I saw the grey skirt at H&M and I LOVE IT! However, it was a little too spendy for me... Anyways, be careful on what t shirt you wear. Some of them look weird with A line skirts. BERETS!!! they're so cute, just beware, those sparkley ones are kinda tacky...

I really like the boyfrien blazers too! Just because they are "preppy" doesn't mean you can't add things to it to make it edgy. Black skinny jeans would also look good, and maybe even those shredded ones too. Jewelry can pretty much make an outfit, you can add studded cuffs or edgy chain

I would like to add that you can stil wear florals or pink, and be "edgy" I do it... here, Lemme show you [:

Finals are DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So happy. And I ended up with all A's on my report card, a perfect 4.0 GPA. so that's good. however, I did get a C+ on my Bio test... hahah opps. Whatever, I've maintained my perfect GPA so, it's all good!

I took some photos for you all... I've missed blogging. I've missed seeing all your wonderful blogs! I have so much to catch up on. I'm sorry I've been neglecting everyone this week, it's been crazy. Gymanastics has been going well, we have our first meet next Friday. I'm pretty sure I'll be on varsity, which is awesome especially since I'm only a freshmen.

Black friday was awesome! I have some good stories, they're funny. At one store, they had all their door busters in the meat department ( I don't know why...) So at 5 AM we could start grabbing whatever stuff we wanted, so I hopped INTO a freezer chest full of frozen turkeys and started throwing GPS behind my head for whoever to catch them. It was a riot, but then some old guy who worked there yelled at me to get out....It was SO fun. I got a 32 gig iTouch. But apparently I have to wait for Christmas to get it even though I'm paying for most of it...

I made these photos a long time ago, but I don't think I ever posted them. I have finals this week... So I probably won't be able to blog until like friday?? Maybe... I don't know.

So today I helped my mother at her work by helping little kids decorate gingerbread cookies and gingerbread houses. SO CUTE!Christmas is coming, and I'm so excited. We're going on a cruise this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someplace warm, which I am really excited because it gets really cold over here in the winter.

I'm so sad!!! My ipod broke! And I"m totally lost without it.... it was my entertainment on my walk to schools, and I'd listen to it all the time while doing homework and such. I feel naked without it. I need to get a new one, but do you think I have and extra $200 laying around? NOPE! So i'm stuck on what to do....

It's hard to take photos of outfits because by the time I get home, it's really dark outside... So maybe I'll have to do it before school? I'll figure something out.

This weekend was SO boring. Then again, come to think of it... most of them are!

In reference to my last post, I realized it's gonna be a long time til I actually get to go to the thrift store... So I went into my parent's closet and "borrowed" their sweaters and cardigans. I only found 3 that fit me decently, but it's better than nothing!

The first two are my dad's, the last one is my mother's.

I just logged in... and realized I now have over 100 followers! thanks guys SO much. It really makes me happy to know that I have people who like my blog! I've been asked by a reader to help her wear a cream colored moto jacket that she just bought. She said she's 13.... so hopefully these outfits are age appropiate. I was tempted to add high heels to all these, but 13 year old girls don't wear heels, do they? The first look, is more of a casual edgy chic look. The skinny jeans have studs on the pockets! This outfit is very simple, but very cute. I just love the colors of that Chanel eye shadow too...

The second outfit is for if she's more... girly. Pair it with a lovely high waisted skirt, floral top, and tights. Ankle booties if she's a fashionista!

Today was great just because I had a lot of time to get homework done while at school. So tonight, all I have to do is study for a History quiz for Friday.... WOOO

Here's what I wore yesterday. I've been tempted lately to wear just band t shirts and skinny jeans to school, but I know I have to keep you all entertained... So yestday I borrowed an AWESOME navy cardigan from my mother. It has these adorable little gold buttons and like a bandaged wrap texture on it. So awesome!It's a little big though. It'll be interesting though, I'm thinking I'm going to write about how much I've struggled with my faith and the only time I feel close to God is when I'm at concerts with "Christian" metal bands. Something like that. There's So many great hardcore bands, who praise God in their songs. And being at their shows is epic, and such a great time.

Guys, it seems like forever since I've blogged, but in reality it's only been like two days....weird. Anyways, first I'd like to show you two new band t shirts I got. Ones to this awesome band called For All Those Sleeping, which is like a screamo band. And the other shirt is to another local band called Sing It Loud, which are an alternative pop band (kinda like All Time Low, but A LOT better) I have another shirt coming from another band... Wow, I'm spending all my money on t shirts! What's up with that??

I had a Biology test today, I looked at the test and just about cried. I'm a smart kid, and good student, but for some reason Biology isn't clicking with me... So it'll be interesting to see how it turns out. However, I currently have like 101% in it... after this test I have no idea.

Ha I went to a Halloween party last night. Here's some pictures when a majority of the kids were out trick or treating. Us girls thought it was too cold...so we stayed inside to play some old school Twister.

Today, the sophmores had the PLAN test, and since I'm in Biology, a sophmore science class, I was the only one in Bio today. Me being just a freshman... It was quite awkward, just me and the teacher. He tried to make conversation, but failed. It was awkward. haha

It rained today. At my old school, where my brother goes, they got let out early because there is a big football game today against one of their rivals. I hope they win! All my friends are talking about Sadie Hawkins, and I wish I would have stayed there just so I could ask a guy out! My friend plans on baking cupcakes and writing S-A-D-I-E-S? One letter on each cupcake. It's so cute. She's asking one of my good guy friends, and it'll be adorable. I tried helping her for costume ideas, and I didn't have any good ideas. I said John and Kate, Reggie and Kim, and Taylor and Selena. However, she reminded me it's supposed to be a costume, not necessarily celebrity couples. haha. I haven't yet established any sort of relationship with any guy from my new school yet. Which makes me sad, and I won't be able to ask a guy to Sadies. *SIGH*

Today I wore my amazing vintage boyfriend blazer. Somebody said "It looks like something a mom would wear" while pointing to my blazer...How funny these kids are. I layered 2 chain necklaces, one being chains and pearls, the other chains and a clock. I love this clock, and it actually tells time! How clever. Kept it simple underneath with a white V neck, and dark skinny jeans.

I have Friday off school due to conferences! WOO. Friday I have gymnastics then a church retreat, which I'm not really looking forward to. Poo. XOXO

I have the song, "Three Cheers for Five Years" by Mayday Parade stuck in my head. I was listening to it on the way to school, and has been in my head ever since. It's a good song though...

This isn't the best outfit, but I wanted to take some photos of leaves. I don't have pretty leaves in my yard, they're all yellow and brown. The neighbors just outside the cul de sac, have these gorgeous red trees. I was tempted to borrow some of their fallen leaves for these photos... Ther were many EPIC fails while attempting to get these photos. They didn't turn out exactly how I wanted, but whatever. I look slightly er, shapely in these photos.

I seriously feel like I need to get out the christmas tree, string on some lights and put a star on top. Then bake some cookies, just because it was so white outside today.... the snow came, and came, and came. And it didn't go away... IT SNOWED LAST NIGHT!! haha everyone's status on facebook this morning was "It's only october 10th, it's way too early for it to be snowing!" but it all melted by this afternoon... *sigh*

I'm currently trying to convince my dad to bring me to the All Time low, We the kings, and The Friday Night Boys concert at the end on Novemeber. I know it's kinda silly to go to a concert with your dad, but my mom won't let me go by myself or with just friends. So I'm gonna go with my buddy Ena, and hopefully the venue will have someplace for dad to sit... we don't want him in the general admin area with tons of screaming teenage girls. I don't much care to All Time low, I think they're too mainstream for me. However, We the Kings is amazing. I usually listen to hardcore/screamo/rock stuff, but I have a soft part in my heart for We the Kings.

Another one of my favorite powerpop bands is A Rocket To the Moon. Their new CD comes out on the 13th... and I'm super excited to buy it! Nick Santino, the lead singer, is a total babe... hahaha. Back to my rock roots, I'm gonna guy the new blessthefall cd. it's real good!

Mom and I went shopping today. A new thrift store just opened up... and I got some things.

First, if you don't know who Attack Attack is, check 'em out! Warning: They're kinda like techno screamo, so if you don't like that then don't check them out. haha. I'm currently at my mom's school on her laptop, stuck here for God knows how long. It's a friday night! I just had gymnastics practice, which was a lot better than last week. I'm supposed to be doing homework right now.... I have A LOT of projects of difficult homework to do this weekend... ish

Tomorrow will be fun! There's a new thrift/vintage store opening up around where I live and so Mom and I are gonna go. Heard there's 25% off... YES! Then I gotta go get some black skinny jeans, and lots of guy's v neck t shirts from Pac Sun. I love v neck t shirts :DDD. Also gonna go to H&M, and some other stores. I'm so excited!!!

Very interesting day... first i'm sickkkk. I never get sick, but lately everyone around me has and I've finally caught the bug. So far, it's not bad. Just stuffy nose and headaches. My voice is also weird, I kinda sound like a man... ish.

Secondly, there were 3 fights today at school! One was at A lunch, second was right before 5th period, and the last was right after school in the front. What an insane day. I've kinda noticed that some of the kids at this school have either A. A bad temper, B. No respect or C. Are just really stupid. Ha, the joys of public school. On the other hand, there's lots of cool people here.

Today's weather was GORGEOUS! It's a perfect fall day. The weather is about 65 and sunny, a little bit of wind, and the fall leaves are changing. What more could I ask for?? So I took some photos of some of the red. orange, and yellow leaves that had fallen from the trees. Beautiful day.

I just realized some of the pictures of leaves by the curb, look like a bunch o poop. haha opps

Last night, Mom and I went on a late night adventure to the pet store. We got 2 goldfish, 1 fiddler crab, and 2 snails all for her classroom. apparently the little ones are learning about animals. WOO HOO.

So if you didn't know... the beautiful Chanel Iman and Jourdan Dunn grace the cover of November issue of Teen Vogue. I've adored Chanel since she, Ali Micheal, and Karlie Kloss appeared on the 2008? February cover. Both Chanel and Jourdan look amazing! Very effortless and simple. The way I like it. In the interview they explain how they weren't really friends. They always competed against eachother because most designers only wanted one black model. We find out later in the interview, they've finally worked things out and have stopped "fighting"

Here's some snippits from the interview, and some lovely photos!

Jourdan, on the harsh realities of the industry:
"I remember last season I was about to go into a casting, and my agent phoned and said, 'Turn back. They decided they don't want any black models.' I was like, 'They're actually telling you that's the reason? Are you serious?!'"

Jourdan, on her unplanned pregnancy:

I guess I didn't really realize how hard things were gonna be once I left. and I'm pretty sure a lot of you are sick of my emo-ness and complaining. So, I've finally delt with the cold, and took some photos of the dress I bought last week....

It's much too cold to be taking off clothes and putting them on, so you're gonna have to wait to see what I bought last week... haha sorry

Last night was the homecoming game, but I didn't go. I won't get into the details. It was stupid, I was gonna go, but eventually ended up not. At gymnastics, I can't see. I don't ever wear my glasses, and it's not like you can wear them while doing gymnastics. I can't see that well and it makes me scared to do anything. I can't consentrate on a skill if I can't see the vault or everything around me is blurry. My parent's won't let me get contacts, so I don't know what I am going to do... help?

I made an inspiration board. It's not that great, but it's just something to keep you all going. I'm feeling very blah lately. Maybe it's because of the sudden change of weather, maybe it's because of my parents, and maybe it's because of my friends. *SIGH* I'm second guessing my decision to leave my old school, and go to public school. When I made the decision, I just assumed I would of had meet tons of awesome people that I could consider my friends. It's homecoming weekend, and I'm at home. It's supposed to be the time when students bring out their school spirit and cheer on the teams. It's supposed to be a time when you bond with your class mates, and pull stupid pranks on eachother, and I can't do that. All because I moved schools, and haven't adapted well.... Wow, I'm pathetic. haha. It's not like people are mean to me. They're all nice, I just haven't been able to slither into their group of friends yet.

Ehhh it's soo windy here right now. it's insane. I almost got pushed over myself. haha

Made a new header for the blog. It's better than the old one, which looked weird. Woo hoo i like this one.

I'm feeling really mopey and sad. Maybe it has to do with homecoming. Mom won't let me go to my old school's and I don't wanna go to my new school's Homecoming. *sigh* I think I need some excitment to bring into life, because I don't much care for monotonous things. I also need to start being my social butterfly self at my new school... ARG it's hard though.

So I bought some fashion magazines hoping it will cheer me up. I bought the Oct. issue of Elle, with Victoria Beckham on the cover. She's amazing. I love her strange sense of fashion... haha it's cute on her.

Then I got the Harper's Bazaar Runway Report from the Fall/Winter collections. Yes I know S/S runway shows have been going on, but there ain't no magazine for that one.

I'm hoping a dose of fashion will cheer me right up. I bet it will.. at least it will give me something to do. umm... Oh i've decided I want a tatoo. yes, but i'm such a baby about it. and plus I can't legally get one til I'm 16, and my mom won't let me til i'm legally an adult and able to "mess up my life".... Should I get extentions??? the back of my hair won't grow (I used to have the "Posh" bob thing, it looked cute but I'm growing it out now) However, extentions are like $60, which I don't currently have. I think I'll go rob a bank or something...ha Jk

I'm alive, and able to move! haha but i'm huring. My back, shoulders, and legs hurts. Eh, that's what happens when you decide to get back into gymnastics. Your body don't like it at all!

Here's some photos I took this morning... roses and leaves! woo. I'm happy fall is coming. Fall atire is just so lovely, and on top of that we get to drink apple cider, hot cocoa, the leaves turn lovely colors, and it's an excuse to buy a new coat! I don't think my parent's will buy me one this year, because I still have 2 from last year... but the cute one isn't very warm :/ And I dont' have any money now because of gymnastics. dang. They want me back at my old job, and they said they'd give me a raise!!!! I would love to go back teaching the little ones how to do cartwheels and such, but I have no ride. No car, no license... *Sigh*

This is also what I wore today... Shirt: H&M, cardigan wrap: Target, skinnies: Pac Sun, Necklaces: DIY, and Forever21. I don't know if I like the cardi wrap... Just got it today, but I don't know about the sleves?? Makes me look like a court jester. What do you guys think?

Today was the first day of gymnastics!!! I've been on a 3 year sabatical, and thought i was gonna make a fool of myself... but i didn't. gymnastics isn't one of those sports that you cant just hope right into, we do lots of crazy flips, twists, and tumbles. it's hard on your body. I know i'm gonna be super sore tomorrow. I'll be lucky if i can move. The bad thing about gymnastics is that I have to walk from school to the gym, which is about a 25 minute walk. Which isn't horrible, but it was RAINING today. I had my nasty pink umbrella that got all messed up when the wind blew by... I must have looked like a hopeless case to the cars driving by.

Uh... I guess this is more of a blog post than fashion, but I have some weird news. My family brougth over a girl from Northern Ireland 4 and 5 summers ago. She was this adorable, innocent, girl who was only about a year older than me. She seemed like a very good girl, but my mom just found out she's pregnant and due in march! She's only 16 years old!!!! And I know America has teenage moms too, but really 16 years old and she's pregnant?? *sigh* What a messed world we live in... but i do hope things go well for her.

It's finally weekend, so I"m happpy! woooo. I'll try and post some outfits soon. School has just been weird, and with me starting gymnastics again, i'm gonna be really tired. Here's some photos I'm loving at the moment.

So I know a lot of blogs have done their favorites on the NYC fashion week, and because so many have covered it, I'm trying to stay away. Don't want over kill do we? However, I just got to share with you Vera Wang's S/S 2010 collection... it's just so fabulous. Very dark and romantic. If i were a designer, I'm sure my stuff would be totally inspired by Vera because a lot of her clothes are dark and edgy, but she has a very romatic and feminine touch.

So here's all the thrify/vintagey stuff I got from the Arena sale. Think of the arena sale as a huge charity thrift store... :D so it's all super cheap! All these clothes I bought for $10! haha and you get to see the Georgia O'keeffe painting I painted in art last year....

Got a bunch of free books! After the sale was over, workers got to go around and pick up whatever they wanted. Again, free stuff rocks!

Today was a lovely Fall day. Went to chuch this morning (bleh...) then mom and I went to this lovely bakery that used to sell these beautiful Swans made out of pastry. they were so yummy. We just got some wheat rolls and a passion fruit cupcake that was AMAZING!

Today was awesome! Hot but awesome! It was the annual Arena sale at my old school, in which they fill the WHOLE ice arena with junk. It's like a huge rummage garage sale, and it was amazing as usual. There wasn't as much good clothes like last year, but I got some awesome vintage stuff. Even an old school Polaroid camera! I'll post pictures soon, and show you everything!

I changed the look of my blog, and shortend the name. It's now La Vie Al LA Mode, rather than La Petite Fille Avec La Vie Al La mode.... it was too long haha. The new header is really weird, but it works with it's weirdness. Kinda looks like the model is hunched over ready to give birth, but it's a cool photo. And my name is no longer La Petite Fille.... it's Ana. It's simple and easy to remember :)

Everytime irony comes back and bites you in the butt

It seems as if every big decision I make, turns out to be a huge mistake. Every single one. I think at one point. I'm doing what's right for me and my family, something that's gonna help everyone. Turns out I will always get crap from people for it, and end up with that feeling of "why the hell did I do that?" Sorry, I'm just venting, and am at the moment sad, confused, mad, and most of all I am lonely. I'm without the comfort of the people I took granted for. I wanted more than I had, thinking running away from it was the answer. At one point, I think things are gonna turn out good, but they don't. and I gotta live with that mistake for a long time...why is mom always right? Once they become a mom, they must get that maternal instinct inside them.

Well whatever, i'll just have to keep moving on... all alone with out the comfort of friends. haha. that makes me sound like a total looser. Uh here's what I wore today at school. "Wasted Youth" shirt and grey slouchey vest: Local Boutique. Leggings:H&M

Sorry for the lack of posts recently... school has started to pick up a little and so the homework load has started to take it's tole. I can't really say I've been wearing any good oufits either, which makes me sad.

one thing i don't like about walking to school, is it gets my hair all poufy and unstraight. I straighten it with a flat iron everday before I leave, but the amount of humidity outside and the body heat inside school, has not agreed with my hair. And so everyday it looks like crap. I like this hat I'm wearing, and although we aren't allowed to wear hats to school I'm gonna try and wear it. I saw some girl wear a hat like this the other day, and I don't think they told her to take it off.... I think they just don't want guys wearing them ghetto esque hats they wear. Although I do like how they look on most guys...

Anyways... since i haven't been wearing anything good I'm gonna show you all my collection of awesome t shirts I have. I don't wear them much just because skinny jeans and t shirts are so boring. Does anyone have any ideas on how to wear t shirts in an interesting way? guys have it easy, if they wear skinnies and a t shirt they look so cool. girls, on the other hand, if they wear skinnies and a tshirt its very boring! And I'm mad cuz i like these shirts!

I don't much like the Friday night boys, I only know two songs. And they're good, but they're just a typical punk pop band. Although, Stupid Love Letter is quite funny!

Great band: great movie, but funny the band was named after the movie... I wanna go see these guys in concert cuz they're so sick nasty.

These Hearts are an awesome band... one of those newer bands that are trying to get their name out there. No one really knows them, and so they're not mainstream, which I appreciate. Once something becomes mainstream it gets..... icky haha

So August burns red was the best concert ever. All the guys are super down the earth, and the crowd action was intense. They're going on tour with Underoath (amazing band)this fall, but do they come anywhere near me?!?!? NOO! and I'm mad.

I need some help! Homecoming is coming up in 2 short weeks and I still don't have a dress! Lots of my friends from my old school already have theirs, and their homecoming is after mine.... I don't know where to look. I don't want to spend lots of money on it, so I found some I kinda liked. help me! I don't want some typical, gaudy, cheeky dress..... so i think these are a little casual but whatever. It's not like homecoming is like PROM, this is a very casual dance. I want some dress I can wear after homecoming, something that my parents won't spend $50 on to be stuffed in my closet for eternity.

So here's finally a decent post. It's what I wore to school today.... Speaking of school, I'm starting to really like it. Still lacking in the buddy department, but some classes like my accelerted 9A english class, and French are fun. Mostly because people actually talk in those classes. I also kinda like Fashion and Clothing now... mostly because we get to move around and actually do stuff. There's these 3 guys who always talk out of turn, but it's funny. It's not obnoxious yet... I have an Adv. Alg/trig test on tuesday, but that should be really easy because it's just review.

The skirt I got at H&M, and I'm wearing it backwards. I just think the zipper should be shown, and not on the back. The tank is from forever21, and the studded sandals from Old Navy. I did wear a gray cardigan (yes I got one!) from H&M, but I took it off walking home because it was so warm outside! this is like the one time you will see me wear pink....

Tried this one effect on Picnik.... it's like hypnotic or something crazy like that. it's very itnteresting....I don't much liike it so i'm gonna stop using it!

And I guess I decided to try a bunch of strange effects on Picnik... next one. Posterize.

I need some help! I want to dye my hair, but I don't know what to do! So here's some ideas.... (it's the attack of the asians!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)Should I keep it dark brown and add redish highlights???or do I go really light brown...?

or get some like blonde and brownish highlights??

or should i dye it really dark and add red highlights?? EMO MUCH?? haha i don't think i'd put this many red highlights.... maybe like just one streak under the hair?

please do tell me what i should do... and i also need to grow my hair out

First day of school...

So today as I walked in the huge public school... so many kids were standing around talking to their friends and catching up. I felt kinda dumb, not knowing anyone so i just went to my locker, hung some photos up and putts around til the bell rang. Most of my classes were fine, and I love my Social Studies teacher. French was pretty good too because i got to talk to upper classmen, and there's one cute boy! haha. we learned how to say "my names is.... what's your name?" which I had learned like in kindergarden... so this class will be really easy. Math was funny just partly because I had all the stupid seniors or average juniors in it. the teacher was all concerned about me being in the class because I don't think he thought I was able to be in it, me being a freshman. that's the joys of going to a private school, your so ahead of the public school kids. He had a list of all the kids in the class and where to sit. Next to our names was our grade, so there was a lot of... gr. 11, gr 12.... and then BOOM, me... gr. 09.

I decided to wear outfit number 1 today with black flats. Tomorrow I'll go for outfit number 2 and the day after, outfit number 4. haha I NEED HELP! I'm taking a clothing and fashion class and I want to drop it because 1. the kids are annoying (the cool looking guy dropped it cuz we have stupid freshmen girls who won't shut up) and 2. I don't like the teacher... however I do want to learn how to sew and stuff, but the projects we are gonna make sound really dumb. i.e, scarf, pajama pants, and a free project. *sigh* i don't know what to do...

anyways.... tomorrow we plan on going water skiing and tubing. hopefully the weather stays beautiful! we have been lying outside in the sun for a few hours each day... here's some random photos we've been taking.... and most of these are of here. 2 weeks notice: These Hearts

Ummmm so ya... today i stayed home, but mom made me clean. ISH. I'm gonna go walk to school to pick up some summer reading thing that I wasn't aware of til 8:30 last night. And since I'm going away for the weekend and school starts on Tuesday, I was freaking out.

But anyway... here's my latest addition in my room. It's a really big white board that i'm using as my inspiration board. I have a wide varitey of dry erase makers, so i can write on there as much as I can and can erase as much as I want. I've put put pictures, band stickers, stuff from magazines, and little keep sakes on there. It's right by my bed, so if i think of something I can jsut write it down. Ah, i love this.

Heres what I'm wearing today... skirt and hat:H&M, shoes:converse, Shirt:DIY zipper

and I'm sure my Uk folllowers has had these, but these are called Mikdao's.... ya I boughtt them at some Irish festival and love them. It's like a shortbread cookie with some raspberrie jelly stuff and coconut flakes on top. YUM! i ate the alst 2 this morning!

I'm off to tierneys cabin this weekend. lets hope the weather stays nice!!!! i'll post lots of pictures later. xoxox

So i'm kinda late on this whole beauty routein thing, but since I haven't taken any new photos and don't really want to, here's my blog post for today! lots of people tagged everyone to do this, and now i've finally gotten around to doing this!

~ HAIR ~
Shampoo: Pretty much whatever is in the shower, but most recently I've been using the Aussie shampoo. it smells yummy. when i run out of that I have 2 HUGE bottles of Herbal Essence shampoo to use.
Conditioner: Either Aussie 3 minute rescue or cheap Suave stuff
Protection: I use this glosser spray stuff that I spray on every time before I straighten my hair. don't wanna damage it do i???
Styling: usually just straighten my hair. sometimes I decide to tease it, and use hair spray. however thats not very often.

~ MAKE-UP ~
Primer: Clinique City block. I think it's supposed to be a sunblock for the face, but i use it as a primer
Foundation: maybeline mineral foundation
Eyeshadow: i usualy use a blush (that's like a bronzer) right under my eyelid. Then a golden powder from Ulta over my whole lid, and Brown on the crease. I also use this copper color on the inside part of the eye lid sometime.

Eyeliner: black cover girl eyeliner
Lipbalm/gloss/stick: burts bees lipbalm. it's the minty stuff!
Nail varnish: use this cheap stuff from target for $1. color is always black

~ BODY ~
Cleanser: iovry body wash
Toner: .... nothing?
Fake tan: dont use it

Fragrance: usually abigail by Aerie, because It was given to me by a friend, so I don't worry about wasting it. But I LOVE Calvin Klein, IN2U her... it's so yumm!

I adore the menswear look going on. I found this simple vintage white button down shirt. It's super comfy and I love it. I did try this on with my boyfriend blazer, and it made me look very mature... anyways, here's some photos.

Shirt and shoes:vintage, Jeans: pac sun, scarf: H&M my cat, Star, says hello. (meow!) my little cousins are so cute!this is a track photo that we stuck this little 6th grader on top. He's the little brother of my dear friend, Derek, and haha it took us like 5 tries to get this photo. And once we fell, the guys cheered for us...
One last thing... I need to know if I can wear these shoes with the scarf. I don't know! HELP ME. Because I think it goes with the scarf, but ehh the scarf is more neon in real life. So idk!

I got a new camera. the nikon I just got took some crappy photos, and so I was at a store and saw they had the Canon on sale, and so I bought it. I LOVE THIS CAMERA SO MUCH. if you're looking for an amazing camera at a decent price ($179.99) get this one. It takes some pretty bangin' photos. It's the canon SD 1200.

Today I had freshman orientation. My class size is 493.... a little overwhelming considering my class size at my old school was 113. I didn't get to meet too many people, but I did meet a friend of a friend. and lemme tell you, there's so many good looking boys. Sure a lot of them look older than 14 or 15, but at public school you get a WIDE variety of boys. preppy ones, emo ones, atheltic ones, skater boys, punks, and ghetto ones. it's amazing. and for the first time today I saw an African American male wear skinny jeans, with a studded belt. Skinny jeans adds a certain amount of attractivenss in the male species... haha. unless they're fat, then NO!

So since school is only .8 of a mile, I get to walk home (it's good exercise, I keep telling myself). So with my new camera I took some lovely scenery photos.

Then after I got home, I took some outfit pictures! Dres: urban, Jacket:nine west, tights and shoes:vintage, chain necklace: Forever21

I wish I could make these bigger. Even if I make the picture like 3654 x 2456 or whatever it's still this size. And right now the picture size is only like 1300 x 1900 or whatever. SO please help me! haha

So tierney's party was so freaking fun. I didn't expect it to be that good, partly cuz the kids from my school don't really get into the whole "dancing" scene. Whatever, once those highland kids got movin', we shhhhoook our butts too.

lemme share with you my current song obsession.... hot mess by Cobra starship. My friend Elise, and I were the only ones who knew this song at the party, and so we were dancing and singing like a bunch of loosers. haha.

Cause you're a Hot mess, and I'm falling for you! And I'm like "hot damn, lemme make you my boo." Cause you shake it, shake it, shake it like you know what to do. You're a hot mess, and I'm loving it HELL YES!

So guess what? today I bought a camera. Yes I did. Not the one I wanted though. I wanted the Canon SD1200, but that was out of stock. Instead, I bought a Nikon. It comes in this sexy shade of purple, and is super tiny.

And now since school is a week away and I was super bored, I'm doning my anual "look though the plethora of fashion magazines you have and decorate your school notebook and folder" event. It's a fun time! I realize now I have too many fashion magazines... but i enjoy reading them too much. And if I want to work at a fashion magazine I should look at them, right?

So my floor is a complete mess... haha but i enjoy doing this kind of stuff. It's fun. and i get mixed reviews at school. Some think it's sweet others think I have no life (which I don't). And others just think it's stupid I have models splashed across my folers. Whatever I like it...
