Dolce & Gabbana Spring Campaign
The pictures above are Dolce & Gabbana's 2009 Spring Campaign. Dolce&Gabbana have never ceased to amaze me! I love the gowns with the flowers (above), they kind of remind of of paper mache...I love the tie dye look on the men's tux. It adds a new twist to the old style. The gowns from last year (below) are my absolute favborite! I love the Jackson Pollok like splatter paint.

Hey-o
Today was rather cold. Sure just a week ago, it was a heat wave! The other day it was snowing...we pretty much all cried. Now, it's warmed up a little, but I sure hope we keep it this way! I would like to say a little bit about a style I like. It's ruffles. Yes, I know they kind of have a bad rep about them, but if you wear them right, it will work out. Please, don't go overboard on the frills and ruffles, for it will make you look like a living Barbie doll of some sort. Not the most attractive! This adorable baby doll is from H&M. I tried to get a good friend of mine to get it, but she complained it looked bad on her. So since she didn't get it, I had to. It was only $10! WOOT! The three layered shirt had the subtle ombre effect, which is also really popular! Burberry, famous for their trench coats, has made an ombre trench coat. I think it was DKNY that made these awesome purple and white ombre skinny jeans. Prada and Vera Wang also followed the trend. They created these really great ombre purses that were so great, Target made some like it. And Vera's affordable line of clothing at kohl's featured ones like you would have seen on the runway. You've seen the leather jacket before, and it's still something you can wear now. It's not hot enough outside so it's still wearable and is still in. Gladiator sandals are also something you have to get for Spring and Summer. I got these black studded sandals at Old Navy last year. It was my first time wearing them, and yes my feet were a little cold! Making the blog two days in a row, is a good friend from school. I am a fan of the 80's look: off the shoulder, neon colors, color blocks, paired with leggings. The boots are Uggs, which I am not a fan of. However, I think the buttons on the side make them look fashioinable enough to wear. In the freezing cold weather in the winter, I will be wearing my fuggs. But I don't want to! I really like the long shirt with leggins look. Some days I don't want to wear jeans, and so I will go the leggins way. I hope you enjoyed the entry. tell me what you think!

A style tip for you :)
Hello! This is what I wore yesterday...Blue tank is from Forever21 ($9.80), Scarf from Claire's (Hey don't judge, it's only $6), jeans also from Forever21, but I got them at a secondhand store ($14), the shoes are faux Steve Madden. I didn't know that until I realized a good friend of mine had the same gold Steve Madden's!!! Girls, don't be afraid to mix and match colors! I know bright blue and red usually don't match, but it's Sping and anything can happen! Like shown here, purple and pink look fabulous! I think skinny jeans can really look good on anyone, and can make any outfit look Urban, hip and cool! The moment I saw these adorable pink sandals, I knew I had to share them with you! A friend at school wore them for the first time today, and she was overwhelmed with complements. Said she got them from Marshall's for $20! These sandals are perfect for Spring and are a much better choice than flip flops because they can cause a bad foot problem. I read it in a magazine, so it's probably true. You don't want to be 30 and in a wheelchair cause you wore flip flops in your youth. When your thirty, you probably have better things to do. Like chasing Little Suzie Q around the house cause she won't take her Chicken Pox meds. Into something more fashionable....This charming knit cream dress looks adorable on another friend at school! She paired it with a lace navy tank, and black leggings embelished with buttons on the side. She wore vintage brown boots with a heel. Ah, how I wish I could wear heels. My legs are very short and would love to have that optical illution of long legs. *sigh*
Hope it gets warmer outside...After all, it's Spring. XOXO

what I wore today
Well hello everybody!
I know I havn't been writing in a while, but truth? I really don't think there are many of you out there reading this? If you are, please leave a comment!
This is what I wore to school today: Cardigan from a thrift store($8?) . Top from Forever21 ($17.80), and the jeans too (19.80). I normally don't spend that much money on clothes (fifteen and under is usually my limit), but it was spring break and I wanted to splurge!! haha. The converse are from the Converse Outlet ($19.99) . They are high top, double tongue, and very cool! I must say, my legs look really short in this picture. Yes, I know I already have short legs, and am constantly reminded of that. Maybe I just have not gotten a real good look at how short they really are... I have to add this last picture of my dear friend. She is infamously known at my school for wearing these ugly cargo pants that really don't suit her well. She is also skinny mini (21 inch waist?), and says it's hard to find clothes...I tell her all the time to go the H&M kids at the mall. But doesn she listen? NO! But it's ok, I still adore her. We were goofing around this morning, and I told her this looked like something the models would do in Vogue. She looked at me like she didn't know what I was talking about. I told her that now lots of models are doing these fabulous jumping photos that look so effortless. When I try doing jumping pictures, I look like a have a double chin and my braces are really shiney! Not attractive!
XOXO more soon.

A novel idea...
Hey everyone! Ah, the weather is warming up, the grass is starting to turn green, and I know what that means...Spring is coming! So to get ready for Spring, I know I needed to get some spring attire. A few years back when those prairie like skirts were popular, my mom gave me two skirts of hers that she thought would look good on me. I never wore them, and stuffed them in the back of my closet. Years later, I find them..."Oh, these are cute! Lets cut them up!" And that's exactly what I did. I cut the long skirt and made it into a high waisted full skirt for spring. The white tank top I got from Platos closet for $6, and that too has a floral design on it. Now, I'm not the kind of person who likes to wear an overload of flowers, so I had to toughen it up a little with my faux leather jacket. Yeah...I know it's cool. The triple buckled belt is from H&M that I got for $5. In case you didn't know, I am a bargain shopper. My friends don't know how I have the patience to go trasure hunting at Thrift stores and garage sales, but I really enjoy it! More to come soon. XOXO

I went to Target!!
So everyone knows this blog is for girls who like to shop at the usual stores that you would find at the mall. So today I went to the wonderful place my friends and I call, Target "Boutique." We all love it! So as i explored this wonderful place filled with affordable clothing, I realized I had to share it with everyone. Target's Go International line is a way to get designer looking clothes for not the designer price. have to let you know, I am an avid lover of the zippers on clothes. Versace has made this wonderful white dress with zippers on it. It's so effortless! I also love ruffles. They are such a cute thing to wear for spring becuase it puts everyone in that party mood. The champange color is just so romantic, and would look great with a fitted leather jacket. The contrast of Black and White is also a nice thing for Spring. You know see tye dye all over the place now like on jeans, trench coats, and shirts. I thought this dress was a very abstract piece that I would enjoy wearing. Let's talk accessories! As I browsed through that part of the stor, I noticed this charming faux python bag that was on clearance. Haha, I speak the language of Clearance. The bag also came in a brown color. I also love anything with pyramids on it. It just catches my eye, and has the ultra cool rocker vibe to it. The gold accents add that final touch. Target doing faux LeSportsac?? Bright colors are also wonderful for the Summer and Spring season, and I loved these over sized bags.
I hope you enjoyed the Target Boutique tour!
XOXO
Nastia Liukin: BCBG's new Spring Campaign & happy st patricks day
Hey! Happy St. Patricks day! Ha my amazing mom made green eggs and ham. Also got some rainbow toast! Ha she the greatest person ever
Being an ex competitive gymnast, anything that has to do with gymnastics really excites me! Fashion and gymnastics don't usually mix together, but I was reading a gymnastics magazine and guess what I found? The 2008 Olympic Gold Champion, Nastia Liukin, is the face of BCBG Max Azria spring campaign! I read that the collection was inspired by dance and movement, and Nastia is really one of the only gymnast out there who still incorperate dance into their floor routie She is so graceful, and oh so very flexible! She met Mr. Azria on the runway, and he knew right away that he wanted her. The pictures are so easy going and so elegant! Ah, I love it!
Nastia was apart of the silver medal winning team for the USA in the Beijing Olympic games. She is known as the elegant gymnast, with clean line and graceful dance moves. She won the silver medal on the uneven bars, and battled it out for gold in the all around competition. She comes all the way from Texas, and practices at WOGA, where 2004 all around winner, Carly Patterson, trained. She finished second place on the balance beam to team mate, Shawn Johson. She earned a bronze on floor too.

Chanel Iman: One of my favorite Models
This is Chanel Iman. I must admitt, you all probably know about her, because she is so amazing. She is African American, but her mom is half Korean (which is so cool, because you don't see very many asian models out there now.)
Chanel was born in Georgia in 1989. The first time she walked the catwalk was the Fall/Winter 2006 Season. She walked for top designers like DKNY. She then modeled for other designers like Marc Jacobs, Valentino, Michael Kors, and Vera Wang.
In the Spring of 2007, she appeared with other models, Du Juan and Coco Rocha, in TIME Style & Disign.
In the May issue of American VOGUE in 2007, she also appeared with Doutzen Kroes, Caroline Trentini, Raquel Zimmermann, Sasha Pivovarova, Agyness Deyn, Coco Rocha, Jessica Stam, Hilary Rhoda, and Lily Donaldson as "The World's Next Top Models" Personally, I loved that issue, because it really showed the versitality of all these models. Of course, VOGUE was right because now you see these models all over the place!
Chanel also appeared with Karlie Kloss and Ali Micheal on Teen VOGUE. The three girls looked so pretty, it was only the second time TV has had models on their cover. Their first was Gemma Ward. I loved this issue, and I can remember looking at this more than once because the girls just looked to wonderful! The pictures were taken at the beach, and everything just looked so effortless!
