currently listening to sleepyhead by Passion Pit. Ah, if you don't know who they are (which you totally should) go buy their album, Manners. It's brill! You know what else is just brill? SUMMERTIME! I can tell this summer is gonna be great. I've only been on break for a week, and it's been such a great time. Plans for this summer? Gymnastics, concerts, parties, drivers ed (FINALLY!), gymnastics, beaches, gymnastics, and did I mention gymnastics? ahhh, I'm so excited, and also... summer love <3>

SMILE KID

So I got my braces off on March 4th, and I still can't stop licking my teeth. It's a strange feeling.... I've never had perfect teeth, and I guess now I do. I can't really stop smiling either. So I guess you'll be seeing more smiles, and less of whatever I used to do... that emo head down thing.

I got this sick new ring... it goes on two fingers and is a bejeweled bengal tiger. I find it quite snazzy. I also just got three vintage rings at a Thrift store, but I've seem to lost one already, and that one was my favorite. :/ Here's also a close up of the necklace, not a great photo but I love the necklace. It was too short when I bought it, so I took some chains from an old necklace and added length.

So tomorrow I'm getting my photos taken by a lady I know who is trying to build up her portfolio. She wants to open her own studio, and has asked some girls to come model for her. I just hope I don't end up looking like a fat lard or something... I think I get nervous in front of other people's cameras.

PS I bought Vampire Weekend's new album (little late, I know) and it's pretty awesomeeee! I also just bought the album from a band called Hockey, so go buy their album, Mind Chaos. And I also bought the EP called, 20 Minute Hourglass by Scene of Action. It's a good EP, but the song Sexception is so so great.

lazy weekend

This weekend was SO boring. Then again, come to think of it... most of them are!

In reference to my last post, I realized it's gonna be a long time til I actually get to go to the thrift store... So I went into my parent's closet and "borrowed" their sweaters and cardigans. I only found 3 that fit me decently, but it's better than nothing!



The first two are my dad's, the last one is my mother's.

I just logged in... and realized I now have over 100 followers! thanks guys SO much. It really makes me happy to know that I have people who like my blog! I started this blog, just to see if anyone would actually want to read it, and to just put all my thoughts and inspirations down in one place. And I guess people like it? My current obsession(other than cardigans) Mayday parade's Miserable At Best. This song is so... beautiful. It almost makes me wanna cry. Listen to it, if you don't know it. I'm normally a metal head... but this song. BAAAA I love it.

My ultimate favortite Alt. Pop band of all time, A Rocket to the Moon... I just realized they had a music video. I didn't know it. So here's the super attractive Nick Santino and his lovely red hair. and LOVELY CARDIGAN. hah i'm such a loser. RIGHT NOW, A ROCKET TO THE MOON'S NEW CD IS DOWNLOADING ON MY ITUNES. I have waited for this cd for a longggg time, and my friend and i have been talking about it non stop like annoying, preppy, little girls. haha If i were an innocent bystander, I would wanna shoot myself just because of how annoying we are. Ah, nick santino is my hero. he's amazing and they better come to my home town soon! Go check out their new cd!! Do it, I dare you.

Here's what I wore today. It's a short post because I gotta go study for a quiz, finish writing a thesis, and finish a Biology project...

I'm always weary on wearing leggings.... I hate it when girls wear leggings as pants. If the shirt doesn't cover the butt, they shouldn't be wearing it. I think only stick thin girls can get away with leggings as pants... and I am not one.
