We All Wanna Be Somebody

Black friday was awesome! I have some good stories, they're funny. At one store, they had all their door busters in the meat department ( I don't know why...) So at 5 AM we could start grabbing whatever stuff we wanted, so I hopped INTO a freezer chest full of frozen turkeys and started throwing GPS behind my head for whoever to catch them. It was a riot, but then some old guy who worked there yelled at me to get out....It was SO fun. I got a 32 gig iTouch. But apparently I have to wait for Christmas to get it even though I'm paying for most of it...

I made these photos a long time ago, but I don't think I ever posted them. I have finals this week... So I probably won't be able to blog until like friday?? Maybe... I don't know.

TIS THE SEASON

So today I helped my mother at her work by helping little kids decorate gingerbread cookies and gingerbread houses. SO CUTE!Christmas is coming, and I'm so excited. We're going on a cruise this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someplace warm, which I am really excited because it gets really cold over here in the winter.

They sold these amazing homemade mittens that were made from vintage sweaters and such. I already had a pair from last year, and one from this year, but mom and I just had to buy some more!



Oh and tonight is Sadies at my old school... so all my friends are there. I'm really bored, and lonely. haha Listen to the Relient K Sadie Hawkins Dance song... it's adorable.

I'm so sad!!! My ipod broke! And I"m totally lost without it.... it was my entertainment on my walk to schools, and I'd listen to it all the time while doing homework and such. I feel naked without it. I need to get a new one, but do you think I have and extra $200 laying around? NOPE! So i'm stuck on what to do....

It's hard to take photos of outfits because by the time I get home, it's really dark outside... So maybe I'll have to do it before school? I'll figure something out.

Like I said, things are kinda busy now, so I'm sorry if I don't respond to your comments! :/ But hope everyone has a happy Thursday tomorrow!

lazy weekend

This weekend was SO boring. Then again, come to think of it... most of them are!

In reference to my last post, I realized it's gonna be a long time til I actually get to go to the thrift store... So I went into my parent's closet and "borrowed" their sweaters and cardigans. I only found 3 that fit me decently, but it's better than nothing!



The first two are my dad's, the last one is my mother's.

I just logged in... and realized I now have over 100 followers! thanks guys SO much. It really makes me happy to know that I have people who like my blog! I started this blog, just to see if anyone would actually want to read it, and to just put all my thoughts and inspirations down in one place. And I guess people like it? My current obsession(other than cardigans) Mayday parade's Miserable At Best. This song is so... beautiful. It almost makes me wanna cry. Listen to it, if you don't know it. I'm normally a metal head... but this song. BAAAA I love it.

My ultimate favortite Alt. Pop band of all time, A Rocket to the Moon... I just realized they had a music video. I didn't know it. So here's the super attractive Nick Santino and his lovely red hair. and LOVELY CARDIGAN. hah i'm such a loser. I really want to go to a thrift store and load up on cardigans! This guy in my Bio class, and I have this little fettish with cardigans... I don't know why I love them so much. I just wanna go and buy a plethora of oversized, vintage cardigans. SOUNDS SO FUN!

I've been asked by a reader to help her wear a cream colored moto jacket that she just bought. She said she's 13.... so hopefully these outfits are age appropiate. I was tempted to add high heels to all these, but 13 year old girls don't wear heels, do they? The first look, is more of a casual edgy chic look. The skinny jeans have studs on the pockets! This outfit is very simple, but very cute. I just love the colors of that Chanel eye shadow too...

The second outfit is for if she's more... girly. Pair it with a lovely high waisted skirt, floral top, and tights. Ankle booties if she's a fashionista!
