First, I have to say my face looks funny in this picture. I look like I have some "too cool for school" smirk on my face. Which I know I am not too cool for school, education is very important. My apologies.
I found this really old, cropped, velvet blazer stuffed in the back of my closet. I bought it from the "Arena Sale" at my school. Every year my school has this HUGE garage like sale in their hockey arena. People line up from all over the place, and some even camp out over night! It's insane how much stuff they have there, and I tend to get a lot of my "back to school" clothes there. The blazer was bought from the "Round Room", which is a sqaure room with more upscale things in it. Once I found these pale blue Gucci kitten heels. Another time I found these great Juicy Couture skinny jeans, and a funky blue backpack purse from Louis Vuitton. You never know what's in there, which is what I love about trifting. They also put like store brand clothes in there like nice jeans from Hollister, good sweaters from GAP, and other misc. items.
Sorry about the fish in the background... I forgot to take them off the wall!

I just finished reading "My Sister's Keeper" by Jodi Picoult. A movie of this book just came out with Cameron Diaz and Abigail Breslin. I want to go see it, but have no one to go with. Mom would cry too much, and my dad wouldn't want to go. The book is about a girl named Anna who's sister, Kate is dying of Lukemia. Anna was born to help her sister by giving Kate her blood, bone marrow, and eventually her kidney. Anna shocks her family by suing them and wanting medical empancipation. The whole book is stunnig, and highly recomend it! It struggles with finding out what is ethically right, and should you harm one child to save another? Go out and read it!
Just thought this was kind of a cool picture. I didn't edit it like I normally do, but I don't think I need to. Scarf is Vintage
